Black Radish Extract
Black radish is the root of a biennial plant of the genus Arctium in the family Asteraceae. It is spindle-shaped, fleshy, conical, with a brown skin and a yellowish-white interior, and has longitudinal ridges. The basal leaves are large, the basal leaves grow in clusters, and are broadly ovate or heart-shaped. The stems grow and the leaves alternate. It has a slightly bitter taste and a sticky nature. [2]
It is native to China and widely distributed throughout both the north and south of the country. Besides China, it is also produced in Europe, India, Japan and North Korea. It is cultivated in many places in China. Burdock prefers warm, humid and sunny environments. It has strong adaptability and can grow on high mountains, hills and low mountains.
